- This may not help you much, but here's what happens to me. I have a
- Motorola Power External 28.8 and everytime I boot into Win95, my TR
- (Terminal Ready) light comes on. When this happens, all of my comm
- programs say that the modem is used by some other program or some such
- nonsense. I've gone thru the same things that you've talked about as
- far as removing the drivers and reinstalling.
-
- The only thing that I can do is leave the modem off when booting or
- else turn it off and back on once Win95 is loaded. If I do either of
- these, the Terminal Ready light stays off and everything works just
- fine. Of course, this doesn't help much if you have an internal
- modem, but at least it may give you some insight as to what the
- problem is (i.e. terminal ready). If you have received any helpful
- advice on how to correct this problem, I would appreciate hearing it,
- as it may help me too.
-
- Thanks!
